Services

We would love for you to make plans to visit us for a weekend service. We have several service options available for you: 9:00 am, 10:45 am or join us at our Online Campus! Upon your arrival, be on the lookout for our “First Time Guests” sign, it’s right inside the front door. Make sure to say “hi” to our volunteers there. They’d love to meet you, help you get your kids checked-in to J-Kidz (our children’s ministry) and find you a great seat so you can enjoy the service.

Our services are only about 1 hour and 15 minutes long. We have worship, a time of giving, and a message to help push you out into the week and grow in your relationship with God!

If you have any questions after the service, our wonderful volunteers will be back out at the First Time Guests area. They would love to answer them! If you’re looking to get plugged in, head on over to the Next Steps area– there are some huge letters on top of it, you can’t miss it. There, you can meet some of our staff and pastors and get to know a little more about Journey. We hope to see you soon! Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

First Time Guests FAQ’s

Shorts and t-shirt or suit and tie, it doesnt matter to us. Just pick an outfit that you already own and that you feel comfortable in, and join us! You don’t need to dress up if you don’t want to, simply come as you are.

Upon your arrival, our wonderful Parking Team will help you find somewhere to park. After that, come on in through the front doors! Right inside, you’ll see a large sign that says “First Time Guests.” We’ve got a group of volunteers there, just for you! They’ll answer any questions you have, help get your kids checked in to J-Kidz (our children’s program), and show you the way to the auditorium.

You will see a countdown timer on the TVs in the lobby and the screens in the auditorium. As soon as that hits zero, our service will begin. We start off with worship, roll right into the message, then end with a few more songs. All said and done, our services usually last around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Absolutely not. We NEVER call out anyone during services. We have people of all different ages and stages of life! Some people feel comfortable lifting their hands during worship, coming down to the altar to get prayer, and giving tithes and offering during the time of offering. All of these things are optional! You are more than welcome to come and enjoy our service from the back row and simply listen and participate as you feel comfortable.

We advise showing up about 10-15 minutes prior to the start time of the service. This will help provide extra time to find a convenient parking space, visit the First Time Guests area, use the restroom, grab a cup of coffee, and find your preferred seat in the sanctuary. If you do happen to be late for a service time, don’t worry! You are welcome to enter the sanctuary anytime during our service.

Absolutely! At Journey, we don’t have “childcare.” We have children’s ministry! We believe in the importance of ministering to the needs of even our littlest members. Our J-Littles Nursery and Preschool areas have been carefully created with your child in mind. The safe and comfortable environments are split from infants, crawlers, and walkers so that your child can enjoy the experience with other children their age.

We also have a Nursing Mother’s Room available with comfortable chairs and a live-feed of the service so that you never have to miss a moment in the service. The ushers can help direct you to that location.

Our J-Kidz (K-5) area is a fun and intentional environment where your child will learn to LOVE GOD, LOVE OTHERS, DO THEIR BEST, and HAVE FUN!

When you arrive with your kids, you will have help learning how to get them checked-in and dropped off in their classes. You will be briefed on our security system for pick-up and drop-off and will receive a tag that matches the code on your child’s tag. Your child may only be dropped off, picked up and released to the person(s) who has their matching tag
